Spring 2011 Belton Pastors Fellowship news
Dear Colleagues,
The Spring meeting of CBFT is drawing near. I want to touch base with you with some preliminary findings and exploration of interest.
Rev. Paul Trinh of Belton Chinese Baptist Church has been extremely helpful in exploring the hotel accommodation and meeting facilities
The La Quinta Inn of Belton is available to us at BGCT discount; further if we reserve 10 room or more we may be able to have a deeper discount. So it is important for us to have preliminary head-count to determinr the number of rooms we need. If you can commit to come to the meeting please let me know by return email. (Specfying how many nights you need to stay and how many people from your church will come)
The First Baptist Church of Belton will be made available to us for meetings. Map and directions will given at a later date.
Tentative Schedule:
April 17 Sunday
If you arearriving before 6:00 pm we will meet in the lobby of the Inn and go to dinner together. If you are a little late you can go directly to the resturant. (To be decided)
We will return to the Inn to have some informal time of fellowship and sharing at around 7:30pm.
April 18 Monday.
7:00 am – 8:00 am Breakfast and travel tio the church
8:30 am -9:00 am registration
9:00 am -9:30 am Morning devotion
9:30 am -10:30am Seminar. Topic: Using Bible Stories for evangelism, discipleship and church planting (Paul Trinh)
10:30am -11:00am. Short break
11:00am -12:00noon Business meeting I (Sharing of the various ministries in CBFT; sharing by patty Lane and Mark on BGCTand CBFT)
12:00noon to 1:30 pm Lunch break
1:30pm-2:30pm Seminar. Topic: The enrichment of marriage and family of Baptist ministers.
2:30pm-5:00pm Touring of Mary-Hardin Baylor University Campus.
